THE 1,000’s

On Friday 12 July 2024, a number of our members will be attempting to bowl for a continuous period of 1,000 minutes in aid of the Club’s chosen charity, The Duchess of Kent Hospice Trust.

This bowling marathon will commence at 5am and finish at 9.40pm. The aim is to raise £1,000 if possible.

Throughout the day, other fun attractions will be taking place at the Club and all members, their families and friends, are encouraged to come along and support.

A Just Giving website has been set up at Justgiving.com/page/the-one-thousand where it is possible to donate. UK tax payers can also use Gift Aid to increase their donation by a further 25%. This promises to be a remarkable event so please do support and help to make a difference to those in need of such vital assistance provided by the Duchess of Kent Hospice.
